Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of studiozeratik.com and Studio Zératik accounts (“we”, “us”). By using the site or signing in to an account, you accept them.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Discord account. You must be 14 or older to create an account, and respect Discord’s terms of service.

You are responsible for access to your Discord account. If you think someone used your account, sign out and email us.

3. Acceptable use

You may not try to bypass the site’s security, access other people’s accounts or data, overload the site or use it in an automated way, send false information, or use the site to harass anyone.

4. Le Refuge Zératik applications and Staff space

Volunteer applications are reserved for people aged 18 or older; any false statement means the application is rejected. Sending an application does not guarantee a position.

The Staff space is reserved for Refuge team members who have a Staff role on its Discord server. The information there, including applications, is confidential: it may not be copied, shared or used outside the Refuge’s recruitment.

5. Suspension and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the My account page. We may suspend or delete an account that does not respect these terms.

6. Donations

Donations are voluntary and give no access to any reward, product or service. Studio Zératik is not a registered charity, so donations are not tax-deductible. Payments are processed by Ko-fi, under its own terms.

7. Intellectual property

The site’s content, Studio Zératik’s logos and those of its projects belong to it or to their respective owners. You may not reuse them without permission.

8. Availability and liability

The site is in beta and provided as is. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages related to its use. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you, including under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

9. Personal information

How your personal information is handled is explained in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; important changes are announced in the news.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there.
